This class, albeit interesting, has been the most agonizing class that I’ve ever taken. It tops tenth grade chem, twelfth grade English, and college freshman European Expansion COMBINED. And those were the three most hellish classes ever.

Haha yay :) I’m really glad. Toucans are absolutely terrifying, and they seem to follow me everywhere. I’m pretty sure that the average person has no idea how often they come into contact with toucan-related things.
Tonight's my last night as a teenager.
Too bad I’m writing papers instead of participating in some youthful shenanigans.

My birthday's on Monday.

The last philosophy class of my life.
My professor has been notorious for his ”no solid foods in class” policy. Kids have had fun with this all semester, bringing in the grossest smoothies ever.
Today a guy brought in a full watermelon. Like, a twenty pounder. He spent some time trying to cut it open with a plastic knife. My professor started yelling: ”What is this??!??!! No food! Especially not that!!”

I offically submitted my first PhD application.
The Rutgers one, because it’s easiest.
They made me summarize my academic awards, achievements, and honors in less than 250 characters. That’s all they’re getting about me. My entire college career came down to a Facebook status.

When my Saturday flight home from Italy was...
and I was pressuring the airport staff to give me info on the Sunday flight, I asked if we were “guaranteed a flight home on Sunday.”
The guy looked at me completely nonchalantly and said, “I mean, sure. A lot of things can happen between now and then. The world could end tonight.”
I am just now realizing how great this is.
